Today you would be
thirty five, a very round number
to be.
To be
away from our lives, you fly
in and out of my thoughts
and dreams, daylily.
Winsome and bold
of course it would be you
who swam to the depths -
touch -
teach me, tell me what you learned
when the water became wetter
by your tears.
And what it was like to never stop building
a fantastic dream-
world for us all.
To be
so much the same
and more,
forever the other side of our coin.
